A home decor and gourmet foods store that's still not shy about letting its true San Francisco roots show. The original Cost Plus was in a warehouse on Fisherman's Wharf, and was the coolest hippie hangout in the 60s outside of the Haight, noted for it's huge selection of candles and incense and of course all things rattan. It inspired some notable knockoffs like Pier One, but Cost Plus World Market still is THE place to go to satisfy your inner hippie
