  Never shop at Africa's Child! Here's one reason: I wrote about this before but it's such a rip-off for their hapless customers, I must alert other consumers again. I bought a used vacuum for $35 from Africa's Child a couple weeks back that didn't work when I got it home that day. (This means it never worked at all.) I called and asked if I could just bring it back. "No'" the woman told me on the phone, "We have a no-returns policy." But - get this - she then asked me if I wanted to bring it in and donate it back to them! Why? You guessed it! She obviously intended to re-sell the non-working piece of junk to the next disabled senior who walked through her door! Please shutdown your crappy "charity" lady! Do the area poor a favor and close your doors forever, Africa's Child!. Grand Rapids just doesn't need your brand of scam artist - one who is bent, as you clearly are, on fleecing our residents who are already poor enough to be shopping second-hand. This "business woman" conned $35 dollars out of my wallet AND wanted me to help her do it to someone else! Some charity, eh?
